The Royal British Legion - Putney
Branch Poppy Appeal
The club here in Putney is the home of the local RBL Branch whose volunteers are perhaps best known for the yearly Poppy Appeal and Remembrance services.
We are a campaigning organisation that promotes the welfare and interests of current and former members of the Armed Forces community, including dependants and carers. We also provide support for former Commonwealth allied forces citizens who are residents in the UK as well as past and present members of the Brigade of Gurkhas and their families.
During the Poppy Appeal the Branch delivers and collects Poppy boxes to Schools, Pubs, Stations, Retail outlets and leisure facilities throughout Putney, Roehampton and the surrounding areas.
We are delighted to hear from anyone who wishes to donate some of their spare time particularly during the poppy appeal or wants to host a Poppy collection box, for more information please reach out to us here and a member of the Branch will be happy to speak to you.
We would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to donate even a little of their time...
